Why roof cleaning crews switch
Roof treatments price off roof square footage, but the rate moves with the material: asphalt shingle soft-wash at $0.30/sq ft, moss treatment at $0.35, tile at $0.40 (a $450 minimum, since tile is slower and more fragile), metal at $0.28. Jobber saves a flat service price, not a per-square-foot rate by material, so a 2,400 sq ft tile roof and the shingle ranch next door quote off the same line item. Jobber is priced per user (each plan includes a set number of seats and additional users cost extra) and the low prices it advertises need an annual commitment. Add-on pricing (CompanyCam, ResponsiBid, NiceJob) is third-party and changes. The point isn't the exact figure. It's that the incumbent needs a stack, and per-seat pricing, to match one per-truck Hoseworks plan.

Where Jobber still wins
There's a real case for staying: plenty of roof-cleaning crews grow out of or up into full roofing, repair, gutters, or general exterior work, and Jobber was built to carry that whole spread. If that is your mix, it is the safer home. It covers all those trades, books big-ticket roof work through consumer financing, ties into QuickBooks for the accounting, and brings a long, well-supported history a young exterior-only app can't claim.
